Quickly’s User Roles feature allows you to assign different access levels to your team members, ensuring that each person has the appropriate permissions to perform their tasks. As the account admin, you have the ability to manage these roles based on your team’s responsibilities.

How to Manage User Roles

Follow these steps to assign or change user roles for your team members:

  1. Log in to your Quickly account.

  2. Go to the Settings menu in the bottom left corner of your screen.

  3. Click on the Team section.

  4. From here, you’ll see a list of all your team members and their current roles.

    • To change a role, simply select a team member’s name and choose the appropriate role (Admin, Controller, Accountant, or Operator).

  5. Save your changes.

Remember, roles can be updated at any time, giving you the flexibility to adjust access levels as your team grows or changes.

User Roles Overview

Quickly offers four distinct user roles, each with different access levels. Here’s a breakdown of each role:

1. Admin

  • Permissions:

    • Can approve and decline bills.

    • Can manage Workspace settings, contacts, roles, payments, and billing.

The Admin role has full access, including control over all workspace settings and user management. This role is ideal for those responsible for overall system management.

2. Controller

  • Permissions:

    • Can approve and decline bills.

    • Can manage Workspace settings, contacts, payments, and billing.

    • Cannot manage roles.

The Controller role has access to manage workspace settings and financial operations but is restricted from managing user roles. This role is suitable for financial managers or senior accounting staff.

3. Accountant

  • Permissions:

    • Can approve and decline bills.

    • Can manage contacts.

The Accountant role is designed for team members who handle daily operations like invoice approvals and contact management, without access to broader company settings or billing.

4. Operator

  • Permissions:

    • Can approve and decline bills.

The Operator role is limited to approving or declining invoices. This role is ideal for team members focused on transaction approvals without needing access to other areas.
