Set up Approval Workflows

This article guides you through setting up or editing approval workflows for early payment requests in Quickly.

Access approval workflows

Access workflows in your Account settings by clicking on your profile in the navigation bar on desktop or mobile.

Default workflow

Every account starts with one default Workflow that is set for all vendors. You'll see this in the workflows tab in your account settings.

To edit the default workflow, click the pencil icon on the right-hand side.


Edit Workflow

  1. Navigate to the Workflows tab in your Account Settings

  2. Edit the default workflow by clicking the pencil icon

  3. Specify which vendors you'd like to apply the workflow to, or check the box to apply to all vendors

  4. Click on each team member in the order of your preferred approval sequence

  5. Click Activate

Add new Workflow

To add a new workflow;

  1. Click + Add a workflow

2. Specify which vendor(s) you'd like to apply the Workflow to, OR check the box to apply it to all vendors

3. Click on each team member in the order of your preferred approval sequence

4. Click Activate

⚡ Any vendor who has sent you a bill will appear in the vendor list. If a vendor has been assigned to a different workflow, it will not appear.

Apply to all Vendors

In order to set a Workflow affecting all incoming bills, set the workflow to apply to all vendors by editing a workflow and checking the box to Set as the default workflow for all vendors.

Delete workflow

To remove a workflow,

  1. Click the trash can icon on the far right.

  2. Click confirm to delete the workflow

⚡ Each account requires one workflow to function. If you only have one, you will not be able to delete it
