When you launch your Early Payment Program with Quickly, your existing suppliers are invited to join the platform so they can start benefiting from early payments. However, as your network grows, you'll likely onboard new suppliers, and Quickly makes it easy for you to add them to the platform.

By inviting new suppliers to join Quickly, not only can they request early payments, but they will also have real-time visibility into their approved invoices and upcoming payments—allowing for better cash flow management and stronger vendor relationships.

Here’s a simple guide to help you add a new contact (supplier) to your Quickly account and invite them to the platform.

Why Add New Suppliers to Quickly?

Adding your new suppliers to Quickly offers several benefits:

  • Access to Early Payments: Suppliers can opt to receive payments ahead of their invoice due date, giving them flexibility and improving their cash flow.

  • Invoice Transparency: Suppliers can easily track their approved invoices and payment statuses, providing them with real-time visibility and allowing for better financial forecasting.

  • Streamlined Communication: By adding suppliers to Quickly, you can centralize communication about payments and streamline the entire financial process.

Step-by-Step: How to Add a New Contact

Step 1: Log into Your Quickly Account

Start by logging into your Quickly account using your credentials. Once logged in, you'll have access to the buyer dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the Contacts Section

On the left-hand side of your screen, you’ll see a menu bar. Look for the Contacts icon (usually represented by a people icon) and click on it. This will take you to the Contacts section where you can manage all of your current supplier contacts.

Step 3: Click “Add New Contact”

In the top-right corner of the Contacts page, you’ll see an option that says “Add New Contact”. Click on it to begin adding a new supplier to your account.

Step 4: Enter the Contact Details

Once you click Add New Contact, a form will appear where you can fill in the details of the new supplier. This will include:

  • Contact Name (optional)

  • Company Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number (optional)

  • Default Payment Terms

  • Assign Contact Type

    • Supplier

    • Customer

After you’ve entered the necessary details, click Save.

Next Steps: Managing Your New Contact

Once the contact has been successfully added, you’ll have several options for managing their access and interactions on Quickly:

Send an Invitation to Join Quickly

After adding the new contact, you can send them an invitation to join Quickly. This will allow them to sign up, connect their accounting software, and start requesting early payments.

How to send the invitation:

  • Navigate to the newly added contact.

  • Click Send Invitation to send them an email invite to join Quickly.

Control Invoice Visibility

As a buyer, you can control which contacts are able to view their approved invoices. This is especially useful for managing supplier access and ensuring transparency over which invoices have been approved for early payment.

How to manage invoice visibility:

  • Select the contact from your list.

  • Click on the option to enable or disable Invoice Visibility. This allows the supplier to see which invoices are approved for early payment.

Edit Contact Information or Delete Contacts

If any changes need to be made to the contact’s information, you can easily edit their details or delete them from your network.

To edit or delete a contact:

  • Click on the contact you wish to edit or delete.

  • Select Edit Contact to update their information, or Delete Contact to remove them from your Quickly account.

Why It’s Important to Keep Your Supplier List Updated

By continuously adding new suppliers to your Quickly account, you ensure that all parties involved have the opportunity to benefit from the platform’s powerful tools:

  • Improved Cash Flow: Your suppliers can access early payments, giving them greater financial flexibility.

  • Financial Visibility: Suppliers can track their invoices, allowing for a more transparent and streamlined payment process.
